Rental conditions and practical informations

1. General information on the rental agreement
Holidaysbuynet, in the following referred to as the Letter. The French authorities authorize the Letter, to let holiday homes on behalf of owners.

2. Reservation
Reservations may be made orally, by mail or by email. Reservations are final when the rental agreement has been signed.

3. Pricing
The prices stated at the time of reservation will always have binding effect for the Letter. All prices stated are per week and in Euro and are valid for the entire holiday property.

4. Confirmation
At the time of signing the agreement, 25% of the total rental amount is payable on account by bank transfer, credit card or check to the bank account of the Letter. Amounts paid on account will not be refunded in case of cancellation.

5. Payment
The 75% balance of the rental cost, is payable by bank transfer, credit card or check, - along with the deposit which has to be sent by check - must be received by the Letter no later than 4 weeks before the beginning of the rental period.

6. Cancellation/withdrawal/Insurance
In case of cancellation 4 weeks before the beginning of the rental period or later, the right to reimbursement will not apply, unless the cancellation is covered by the Holiday Rental insurance given by Europæiske Rejseforsikring. Only the deposit will be refunded to the tenant.

7. Occupancy
The number of persons specified for each house must not be exceeded without prior agreement with the Letter. If the owner/Letter finds that the agreed maximum number of persons is exceeded, the owner is entitled to refuse to hand over the key(s).

8. Obligations of the tenant
The times stated for receiving and returning key(s) must be kept unless otherwise agreed. Tenants are obliged to leave the holiday property in clean and tidy condition and inform the Letter of any damage or defect.

The tenant is responsible for the following: 1) tidying up, 2) cleaning dishes, 3) emptying trash, as well as 4) a day-to-day cleaning. 5) If linen is rented, it is requested that all linen be left in one room at departure. The amount payable for final cleaning depends on the size of the holiday property and will be specified in the rental agreement. If additional cleaning is required, it will be invoiced to the tenant.

The deposit paid to the Letter serves as security for the rented property and will be returned immediately after the end of the rental period providing that the tenant has not caused any damage to the rented property. The tenant’s liability for damages still applies, even if it exceeds the amount of the deposit.

Practical information

1. Cleaning
Final cleaning is an obligatory for all rented holiday homes. Payment for cleaning is specified in the rental agreement.

2. Electricity, Water and Gas Consumption
In the high season, electricity, water and gas consumption is included in the rental cost, unless otherwise stated in the rental agreement. Off-season, payment will be based on consumption or at a fixed amount.

3. Pets
Consequently, no pets are allowed unless to prior agreement with the owner/Letter.

4. Information, arrival and departure
Information concerning driving directions, handing over of keys etc. will be forwarded by email to the tenant 2-3 weeks before arrival at the rented property. Unless otherwise agreed, the rented property will be available from 5 pm on the Saturday of arrival and has to be vacated at 10 am on the day of departure.

5. Equipment etc.
The holiday homes have fully equipped kitchens with refrigerator and cooker. The bedrooms are equipped with duvets/blankets and pillows. The tenant must bring linen, towels, kitchen towels and dishcloths. Linen and towels may be rented from the Letter at a price of 10 Euro for linen and 6 Euro for towels per person. Cots and high-chairs can be rented for 15 Euros per item. If the tenant wishes to rent linen and towels, this must be ordered from the Letter no later than 4 weeks before arrival to the rented property.

1. General information on the rental agreement
Holidaysbuynet is hereinafter referred to as the Letter, and the tenant is referred to as the Tenant.

Reservations may made orally, by mail or by email. Reservations are binding on the Letter when the Letter has sent an email confirmation of the Tenant’s reservation, and when the Tenant has paid a reservation fee online at the Letter’s website within 24 hours of the Letter’s confirmation.
The prices stated at the time of reservation will always have binding effect for the Letter. All amounts stated are prices per week for the entire holiday home.

2. Reservation
Upon reservation, 25% of the rental amount is paid together with a booking fee of EUR 28. Payment must be made by credit card. Amounts paid on account will not be refunded in case of cancellation.

3. Payment

The 75% balance of the rent must be paid by cheque, credit card or bank transfer and payment must be made to the Letter’s bank account no later than eight (8) weeks prior to the start of the rental period. The Letter reserves the right to cancel the lease if payment is not received on time.

4. Deposit
The security deposit for damages, which appears from the rental agreement, is payable in cash in Euro directly to the owner of the rented property upon arrival. The security deposit for damages will be returned to the Tenant after the stay, less payment for any damages.

5. Arrival and departure
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, arrivals are on Saturdays between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m., and departure is between 8 and 10 a.m.
Upon arrival, the Tenant must present the rent certificate/voucher and passport to the owner or the owner’s representative.

6. Cleaning
The rented property is cleaned before your arrival. The Tenant pays the owner or the owner’s representative for final cleaning at departure.

7. Heating and consumption
Payment for heat and other consumption is made directly to the owner at departure if such expenses are not included in the rent.

8. Cancellation/withdrawal/insurance
In the event of cancellation before the beginning of the rental period, the right to reimbursement of the rent paid will lapse, unless the cancellation is due to circumstances covered by Europaeiske Holiday Home Insurance.
The Tenant is comprised and covered by Europaeiske Holiday Home Insurance, which provides coverage in accordance with the company’s insurance terms that are sent to the Tenant together with the rental agreement.

9. Occupancy
